Privacy notice

This site has no cookies, no analytics, no tracking scripts and no forms. This notice explains the little personal data that is still involved in running it and in writing to me.

Visiting this site

The site is served by Amazon Web Services (Amazon CloudFront and S3). To deliver a page, AWS necessarily processes your IP address and standard request details such as the browser type and the page requested. Access logging is not enabled for this site, so I do not keep those records. Fonts and images are served from this site; no third-party content is loaded.

Writing to me

If you email me, I use your address and what you write to reply and, if we decide to work together, to set up and run the engagement. Email is hosted on Google Workspace. I keep correspondence for as long as the conversation or engagement requires, and afterwards for as long as accounting and legal obligations require.

Legal basis (visitors in the EU and UK)

• Delivering the site and answering your message: legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
• Steps you ask for before or during an engagement: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).

Transfers outside the EU

I am based in the United States, so data you send me is processed there. Amazon Web Services and Google are both certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, or to receive it in a portable format. Write to alessandro@muti.us. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority; in Italy, that is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
